About this tool
Paste any JSON and it is validated as you type. If something is wrong, the message includes the line and column; pressing Format or Minify jumps the cursor to the problem.
Format pretty-prints with the indentation you choose, Minify removes all optional whitespace, and Sort keys orders object keys alphabetically at every level.
Good to know
- Your data stays in the page — nothing is uploaded.
- Standard JSON only: comments, trailing commas and single quotes are not allowed.
- Numbers larger than 253 lose precision in any JavaScript-based parser.
