UUID Generator
Generate random version 4 UUIDs with optional uppercase and no-hyphen formats.
About this tool
A UUID is a 128-bit identifier written as 32 hexadecimal digits. Version 4 UUIDs are random: 122 of the 128 bits come from a cryptographic random number generator, so collisions are practically impossible.
These are generated in your browser with crypto.randomUUID() (or an equivalent fallback).
Good to know
- Use them as database keys, request IDs or file names.
- A UUID is unique, not secret — do not use it as a password or access token.
